Four Fires

title-arrow

Four Fires is an economic partnership between our Tribe, the Forest County Potawatomi Community of Wisconsin, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin, and the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians of California.

The partnership serves as an economic model, benefiting other tribes interested in working together to strengthen efforts and diversify their economy. It represents one of the largest business investment collaborations for American Indian tribes in history.

Four Fires broke ground in March 2003 on a $43-million hotel project in Washington D.C., and in 2005, the group opened the 13-story, 233-suite Residence Inn by Marriott. The hotel is located three blocks from the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian and just blocks from the United States Capitol.
