The most recent economic diversification effort of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is a 12 acre mixed-use development project located in the City of Highland, California, known as San Manuel Village.

This commercial real estate investment project is designed to develop land near the San Manuel reservation into a property that will include a hotel and conference center, restaurants, retail space, and offices.

The San Manuel Village Hampton Inn & Suites will include 110 rooms and suites, which are ideally suited for corporate travelers, tribal business associates and tourists visiting the area. The project overall will provide opportunities and partnerships with local vendors and suppliers and will create approximately 250 jobs for Highland and San Bernardino residents.

The tribe's plans for the development is to provide local business and retailers with a convenient, easily accessible, highly visible location to conduct profitable commerce and provide needed goods and services to the local community.
