Four Fires is an economic partnership between the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the Forest County Potawatomi Community of Wisconsin, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin and the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians of California.

The partnership serves as an economic model, benefiting other tribes interested in working together to strengthen efforts and diversify their economic and represents the largest business investment collaboration for American Indian tribes in history.

Four Fires broke ground in March 2003 on a $43 million hotel project in Washington D.C. The group developed a 13-story, 233-suite Residence Inn by Marriott, located three blocks From the future site of the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian and just blocks from the United States Capitol.

This first of its kind multi-tribe economic development reached its completion with the opening of the hotel in March 2005.

Our vision is to establish an economic coalition of tribes with a common interest in diversifying the economic opportunities of each tribe.
