Four Fires is an economic partnership between the San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians, the Forest County Potawatomi Community of Wisconsin, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin and the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians of California.

The partnership serves as an economic model, benefiting other tribes interested in working together to strengthen efforts and diversify their economic and represents the largest business investment collaboration for American Indian tribes in history.

Four Fires broke ground in March 2003 on a $43 million hotel project in Washington D.C. The group is developing a 13-story, 233-suite Residence Inn by Marriott, located three blocks From the future site of the Smithsonianís National Museum of the American Indian and just blocks from the United States Capitol.

This project is the first ever joint business venture between Indian tribes and will mark the first tribally owned enterprise in Washington D.C.

Our vision is to establish an economic coalition of tribes with a common interest in diversifying the economic opportunities of each tribe.
